Shipping FAQs
Do you ship internationally?
Yes! Shipping rates are automatically calculated at checkout. Due to COVID-19, shipping times may vary depending on your local post, and there are some countries that the US Postal Service cannot currently ship to. If you’re on that list, drop us a line and we’ll find an alternate method
Update for 2023: Right now, Con Rangers is unable to ship to the UK. We understand this is incredibly frustrating to our UK fans, and are working hard to figure out a solution that works for everyone. Please shoot us an email if this affects you!
When will my order ship?
All orders ship after the store closes. All orders are shipped via the United States Postal Service, and will ship after the online sale's closing date. Shipping prices are calculated automatically based on the weight of items in your cart. Please make sure your email is correct when checking out, as you will receive an email when the label has been created with tracking for you to observe.
Can I send my order as a gift?
Yes, please let us know in the order notes and we will not include pricing on the packing slip.
I can't find my package! What should I do?
Contact your local postal carrier first and be sure to take next steps with them, such as filing a lost mail claim. We are not responsible for any lost or stolen mail.
I need to return something! What should I do?
If an item arrives broken or otherwise defective, please contact us & we will arrange for you to return it and we'll send a replacement. We do not accept returns for undamaged merchandise.
I changed my mind—can I get a refund?
We’re so sorry that you’ve changed your mind, but unfortunately we are unable to accept refunds or returns once badges are purchased.
I made a mistake in my order—can you edit it?
Within reason! If you want to swap out items that are the same cost (ie. one badge for another, NOT one exclusive for a regular badge) or combine two orders to have them ship together to the same address, please send an email to us with your order confirmation number and we will do our best to help. Please note that we may be sold out of some items or might not be able to combine in all cases.

About the Badges
Are you planning on making more badges?
Absolutely! We have a huge list of ideas and designs that we’re excited to make available at conventions every year. At the moment, new patches debut at San Diego Comic-Con, but that may change in the future!
If a regular merit badge is sold out in the store, have I missed my chance to get one?
- If a badge is labeled “Open Edition” it means that we are continuing to produce it and it will be restocked when we’re out.
- “Limited Edition” are patches that are either no longer produced.
- “Retired” are no longer being restocked. If there is sufficient interest in a retired badge, we may reprint them in the future (but no guarantees).
When will you be restocking your sold out merch?
We'll be restocking for a larger shop reopening later in the year, so stay tuned!
What kind of patches are these?
Our merit badges are 1.5” diameter, 100% embroidered patches with an iron-on backing. They’re washable, dry cleanable, shrink proof, and will often last longer than the clothing they’re attached to!
Who designs these?
We do! We design the patches ourselves, and work with a Boy Scout patch manufacturer in the US to make the final product.
How can I attach my merit badge to my shirt / sash / lanyard / backpack?
Our merit badges come with an iron-on backing so you can iron or sew them on as soon as possible, even with your hotel room iron.
Do I have to prove that I’ve earned a merit badge before I buy one?
Nope, Con Rangers runs entirely on the honor system. If you met a celebrity in a bathroom and not an elevator, your secret’s safe with us.
What conventions are the Con Rangers going to this year?
We’ll be at San Diego Comic-Con in-person in July, but otherwise, haven’t made any plans for conventions beyond that. Check here and our social media for any new announcements about 2023 and beyond.
Will you be selling the San Diego Comic-Con 2023 Exclusive during your post-convention sale?
We have a very small number of 2023 exclusives left that will be available duriing the sale. Once they're sold out, we will not be making any more.
